FUE(Follicular Unit Extraction) is a hair transplant procedure that involves removing individual hair follicles from a donor area and implanting them in a recipient area:

    Here’s how the procedure works:

    1. The back of the head is shaved.
    2. A specialized instrument is used to extract individual hair follicles, or grafts, from the donor area. These grafts are usually taken from the sides of the head or back of the neck.
    3. The recipient area is numbed with local anesthetic.
    4. Tiny incisions are made in the recipient area.
    5. The grafts are implanted into the incisions.
    6. The surgical site is covered with gauze or bandages.

FUE is considered a minimally invasive procedure that can be used to treat hair loss, rebuild eyebrows, or hide scars. It’s often performed on men and women with alopecia or male pattern baldness.

FUE offers several benefits over other hair transplant procedures, including:

    • Faster recovery: FUE offers a faster recovery than other hair transplant procedures.
    • Less postoperative pain: Many patients report less pain after FUE than other procedures.
    • Non-linear scars: FUE doesn’t leave a linear scar, so patients can have a more closely cropped hairstyle.
    • Harvesting in non-scalp regions: FUE can be used to harvest hair from non-scalp regions, like the beard or chest.
